Upload & Storage Policy

Last updated: May 25, 2026

1. What You Can Upload

Hummingbird accepts the following file types for generation:

PNG images

JPG and JPEG images

WEBP images

You may upload logos, selfies, food photos, product images, and other brand assets to enhance your generated content.

2. Upload Size Limits

Free users: maximum upload size of 5MB per file.

Starter plan users: maximum upload size of 10MB per file.

Creator and Business plan users: maximum upload size of 20MB per file.

Files larger than your plan limit will be rejected. Please compress or resize oversized images before uploading.

3. Temporary Storage Only

Uploaded files are processed solely for the purpose of AI image generation.

Hummingbird is not a permanent storage or cloud backup service.

We do not keep your original uploads after the generation process completes.

If a generation fails, the uploaded file is still deleted within the cleanup window.

4. Deletion Rules

Source uploads are deleted after rendering is complete or after the job fails.

Generated images are stored temporarily in your gallery and expire based on app settings.

Expired images are automatically removed from our servers to reduce storage costs.

Users should download their final images before expiry.

5. Prohibited Uploads

Executable files, scripts, or any non-image files

Corrupted, damaged, or suspicious files

Content you do not have the legal right to use

Illegal, harmful, explicit, or abusive imagery

Violations may result in upload blocking, content removal, and account action.

6. Compression and Processing

Uploaded images may be compressed or resized to optimize generation speed and quality.

Processing improvements include sharpening, relighting, and color enhancement.

We do not alter your uploads for purposes outside of the generation you requested.

7. Storage Cost and Privacy

We minimize server storage by deleting temporary files as quickly as possible.

We encourage users to save finished images locally to reduce platform storage load.

Paid users can use Hummingbird Vault for private device-based storage.
